The project focuses on utilising EU data infrastructure and complying with interoperability standards to develop practical use cases for CitiVerse.
deltaDAO contributes the data & AI ecosystem services for the SENSE data space as including the Gaia-X Trust Framework integration following DS4SSCC best practices.
Strengthening Cities and Enhancing Neighbourhood Sense of Belonging (SENSE) Project has received co-funding from European Union’s Digital Europe Program under the Grant Agreement No. 101167948.
Leonidas (active)
Domain: Manufacturing
LeOniDaS is a research project dedicated to easing the onboarding process into industrial data and service ecosystems led by Institut für Produktionsmanagement, Technologie und Werkzeugmaschinen - PTW and deltaDAO . Its mission is to develop an interactive regional learning environment and a web-based platform that support knowledge transfer and skill development in the use of digital data spaces.
deltaDAO supports the skill-building and knowledge transfer necessary for the successful engagement in modern data & AI ecosystems and delivers onboarding tooling to existing data spaces and Gaia-X.
The project is co-funded by the German Federal Ministry for Eduction and Research.

Vet4Data Cooperation (active)
Domain: Skills, Manufacturing
The VET4DATACOOPERATION consortium brings together six experienced organisations from across Europe to deliver practical training, real world case studies and multilingual learning materials that help SMEs adopt Gaia X compliant data spaces. The partnership combines technical expertise, vocational training know how and industry engagement to ensure the project’s outputs are relevant, user-friendly and sustainable.
deltaDAO contributes as certified data & AI ecosystem orchestrator and advisor to the training and learning materials.
Co-funded by the European Union under Grant Agreement Number 2025-1-DE02-KA220-VET-000352959.
COOPERANTS (success)
Domains: Space, Aerospace
The COOPERANTS (Collaborative Processes and Services for Aeronautics and Space) lighthouse project will accelerate the digitization of processes in the aerospace industry. The aim of the national consortium is to develop more efficient, decentralized forms for future working methods and processes across the entire lifecycle of space or air vehicles.
The data space, and consequently the marketplace, are already hosted within the Pontus-X data & AI ecosystem.
deltaDAO enabled the establishment of the data space, onboarding of participants, and the integration of advanced use cases for the trusted exchange of data for collaborative engineering, space pilot mission preparation, and advanced smart aerospace services.

AgrospAI (success)
Domain: Agriculture
The Agri-Food data space for sovereign data sharing and Artificial Intelligence services. AgrospAI involves a broad and diverse network of participants representing the different types of actors involved in the agri-food sector, especially the productive side, as close collaboration is sought with the future Common European Agricultural Data Space (CEADS), which focuses on this sector.
The data space will host both proprietary resources (data and services for their processing) shared under terms of use, as well as open data sources, especially high-value and highly relevant datasets in the agri-food sector
deltaDAO enables AgrospAI through provisioning of the core data & AI ecosystem services, data space onboarding, application integration support and by providing latest data space software for the participants.
AgrospAI is funded by project TSI-100120-2024-28.
EuProGigant (success)
Domain: Manufacturing
EuProGigant “European Production Giganet", the bi-national research project for smart and sovereign use of data in the European manufacturing industry. The project is carried out by an Austrian-German project consortium led by TU Wien and TU Darmstadt, the goal of building a multi-location, digitally networked production ecosystem. EuProGigant advances a resilient, data-driven and sustainable industry in Europe.
deltaDAO enabled EuProGigant to apply the latest technical innovations around data & AI ecosystems and to create a Gaia-X data space ecosystem and market connecting suppliers, machines and data-driven value creation pipelines, e.g. predictive maintenance, AI services, Compute-to-Data safe rooms.

Gaia-X 4 Future Mobility moveID (success)
Domains: Automotive, Mobility, Smart Cities
Gaia-X 4 Future Mobility developed and implemented future mobility applications based on Gaia-X. Gaia-X 4 Future Mobility comprised of six projects funded by the BMWK (German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection): Gaia-X 4 AI, Gaia-X 4 AMS, Gaia-X 4 ROMS, Gaia-X 4 PLC-AAD, Gaia-X 4 moveID and Gaia-X 4 AGEDA.
Gaia-X 4 moveID created an identity and transaction infrastructure based on Gaia-X and open identity frameworks to enable a decentralized mobility service ecosystem with non-discriminatory access.
deltaDAO created the data & AI marketplace, economic data space model, AI-driven road condition monitoring, integrated Gaia-X identities and the Trust Framework with the Pontus-X data & AI ecosystem by deltaDAO.
Flex4Res (success)
Domain: Manufacturing
The European research project Flex4Res ("FLEXible production lines and supply chains FOR RESilient manufacturing") concentrates on making supply chains more resilient. To achieve this, Flex4Res develops an open platform for secure and sovereign data exchange along the supply chain that supports the reconfiguration of production networks. It developed toolboxes for resilience assessment and reconfiguration planning. They allow different players in the supply chain to effectively and rapidly adjust to various disruptions, both in their supply chains and production processes.
deltaDAO supported Flex4Res through the largest publicly available Gaia-X ecosystem Pontus-X, providing the Flex4Res marketplace and ecosystem services and by integration of applications in the ecosystem.
Flex4Res has received funding from the European Union‘s Horizon Europe research and innovation program under grant agreement No 101091903.
